bage plastics has another unique product for its partners and customers developed – a white post-consumer ABS.

Our recycling process specializes in post-consumer plastic waste from small electrical appliances and refrigerators. Once mixed plastics have been sorted, cleaned and shredded, the material is mainly black or colored. The successful development of post-consumer plastics in white color is the result of technology and expertise as well as of a constant and strict quality control.

Crucial factors for the success of this project were primarily the self-developed separation technology and the complex cleaning process of the white colored input material from other colors. Subsequently, the realignment of the extrusion process was decisive for the success of this project. At bage plastics, a complete extrusion line was set up to process light-colored materials, so that color impurities and fluctuations can be prevented and the white tone is actively controlled.
Through all of these measures we have succeeded in producing a white post-consumer ABS recyclate, which is characterized by a color stability over many production batches of ΔE (Delta E) <2.

White ABS recyclates for many technical applications
With the new ABS recyclate in white, we are expanding our portfolio of high-quality post-consumer plastic granules for applications in the electronics, automotive and consumer goods industries. This new product is the starting point for the development of further even brighter, more radiant shades of white.
